Product Overview

SLVCN Manual Lug Type Butterfly Valve with Worm Gear Operator is designed for on-off and throttling control in medium to large pipeline systems where low operating torque and stable manual operation are required. Compared with lever-operated valves, the worm gear design significantly reduces operating effort and provides self-locking function for safer control.

The valve features a lug-style body made of ductile iron (GGG40/GGG50), cast iron (CI), carbon steel, or stainless steel, with a stainless steel (SS304 / SS316) or nylon-coated ductile iron disc and soft sealing seat (EPDM, NBR, or PTFE), ensuring tight shut-off, low leakage, and long service life. The lug type design allows end-of-line service for easy pipeline maintenance.

The worm gear operator enables smooth 90° quarter-turn operation with reduced torque, making it suitable for larger sizes and higher pressure conditions where lever operation is not practical. Designed with ISO 5211 mounting pad, the valve allows future upgrade to electric or pneumatic actuators.

Flanged connection complies with ANSI, DIN, and JIS standards, ensuring secure installation and global pipeline compatibility. Each valve is 100% pressure and sealing tested before shipment. OEM customization is available.
